“A cure for anything is saltwater –sweat, tears, or the sea.” Isak Dinesen

Welcome to Seaside Therapy.  I am Robin Raniero Norris, a Marriage and Family Therapist.  I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.  My focus was in counseling and crisis/stress management.

For the past four years I have been counseling at local schools and in a private practice in San Jose, California. My counseling experience includes work with bariatric clients, gifted children, clients with autism, families with attention and anxiety issues, and crisis situations.

Currently I am on Sabbatical and have undertaken a few new projects. I am writing/editing a book entitled, Feeling Sudoku. It is an international compilation of peoples' stories regarding their passion for Sudoku. If you have a story you would like to share please do not hesitate to contact me. All are welcome to participate. Please click Feeling Sudoku for further details.

Please feel free to contact me at robinsails2@hotmail.com I am available for presentations, training sessions, and consultation on various topics, especially in the field of bariatric surgery, where I am an expert on the topic of psychological effects. If you deem the links on this web site or my articles helpful, I would appreciate feedback via e-mail as well.

Thank you for visiting the site and remember, according to Carl Sandburg, "The sea is always the same: and yet the sea always changes."
